Newly Opened Ramen Restaurant in Springvale
Shujinko Springvale is our newest location, bringing authentic Tokyo-style tonkotsu ramen to one of Melbourne’s most celebrated Asian food precincts. Located at 10D Balmoral Ave, just off the main Springvale shopping and dining strip, a short walk from Springvale Station.
Springvale has one of the most diverse and competitive food scenes in Melbourne, and dedicated Japanese ramen done properly is something the suburb has been missing. Our kitchen runs the same 12-hour pork bone broth process and the same menu as every other Shujinko location. Fresh ingredients sourced daily, broth never rushed, every bowl built from scratch.
The space is relaxed and family-friendly, with room for groups, catch-ups, and the kind of long dinners Springvale’s food culture is built around. A go-to for locals across Springvale, Noble Park, Dandenong, Keysborough, and the wider City of Greater Dandenong.

Popular Ramen & Japanese Dishes in Springvale
The full Shujinko menu is available at Russell Street. From ramen, rice bowls, sides, Japanese beer and sake. If it’s your first time, start with the tonkotsu. If you’ve been before, you already know what you’re getting.
Shujinko Tonkotsu Ramen
The signature. Classic tonkotsu broth, aburi pork belly, bean shoots, scallion, black fungus, and seaweed. Twelve hours of slow-cooking pork bones for the thick, creamy depth that defines Shujinko. If this is your first visit, start here.
Shujinko Karakuchi Ramen
Our spiced tonkotsu. Rich pork bone base with the karakuchi spice blend stirred through for a slow-building heat that warms without drowning the broth. A great pick for Springvale winters.
Shujinko Black Ramen
Smoky, seafood-forward tonkotsu made from a signature blend of bonito and tonkotsu umami. The most complex bowl on the menu and the one regulars graduate to.
